iGii, the deep tech advanced materials company behind the proprietary Gii carbon nanotechnology, today announced the signing of a Master Services Agreement (“MSA”) and development programme with Merck, establishing a collaboration framework between the companies.
Gii is iGii’s proprietary carbon nanotechnology designed for deployment across multiple industrial environments through scalable manufacturing processes. The technology combines ultra-high carbon purity, exceptionally large electrochemically active surface area, anti-fouling behaviour and flexibility across multiple application environments.
“We are delighted to formalise this collaboration with Merck. What excites us most is the recognition that next-generation industrial and analytical systems will increasingly depend on breakthroughs at the material layer.
Merck’s scientific capability, global scale, and position across life science and advanced technology environments make them an exceptional organisation for iGii to work alongside as we continue expanding the deployment potential of Gii across future technologies and industrial environments.”
The collaboration represents a further step in iGii’s strategy of expanding adoption of Gii across multiple industries and application domains.
Further programme details remain confidential between the parties.
