iGii will be exhibiting at the 250th meeting of The Electrochemical Society (ECS) in Calgary this October, with Dr Neil Vyas, Dr Sofia Teixeira and Dr Jo Holmes representing the team.
Alongside exhibiting throughout the conference, the iGii team will deliver three oral presentations exploring the use of Gii, our proprietary 3D porous carbon material, across electrochemical sensing and energy storage applications.
The presentations span printed primary batteries, blood ketone sensing and point-of-care immunosensing, reflecting the breadth of development taking place across the Gii platform.

From material performance to commercial application
Gii is a 3D porous carbon material developed and manufactured by iGii. Its high electrochemically active surface area, inherent antifouling behaviour and compatibility with scalable manufacturing provide a common material platform that can be engineered for different electrochemical applications.
Our work at ECS spans two of those areas: electrochemical sensing and flexible printed batteries.
For iGii, the challenge is not simply demonstrating what a material can achieve in the laboratory. It is understanding how that performance can be translated into repeatable, manufacturable technologies with a credible route towards commercial application.
Meet iGii at ECS 250
As well as attending our presentations, you can meet Neil, Sofia and Jo at the iGii exhibition stand throughout ECS 250.
If you're developing electrochemical sensing, diagnostics, printed batteries, energy storage or other technologies where electrode material performance and manufacturability matter, come and speak to the team.
